The Holy Light arrived in Athens at the Eleftherios Venizelos airport, and was received with the honours due to a head of state.

1. On the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, 7 / 8 September, the ‘TROPOS’ Byzantine Choir sang at the patronal festival of the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos (Pantovasilissa), Rafina. The Most Reverend Elpidophoros, Metropolitan of Proussa, and the Most Reverend Nikolaos, Metropolitan of Mesogaia and Lavreotike, presided.
